Classic PVCu Windows, French Doors & Composite Front Door

Replacing older PVCu windows and a timber front door with more thermally efficient, secure and low-maintenance products.

Project Overview

The property had older PVCu windows that were beginning to fail and were in need of replacement. The existing front door was timber and had also started to cause problems, with areas of the door rotting.

The project involved replacing all of the windows and doors, including two bay windows, one set of French doors and the front door.

The Work

We installed new Classic PVCu windows and French doors throughout the property, replacing the older PVCu products that were beginning to fail.

The project also included replacing the existing timber front door with a new composite front door, complete with an arched PVCu frame. The customer chose a Chartwell Green finish for the front door, combined with Classic Diamond design glass, giving the entrance a completely updated appearance.

The Benefits of the New Windows & Doors

The new windows and doors are much more thermally efficient than the previous products, providing an improvement over the older PVCu windows that were beginning to fail. The customer also benefits from much improved security compared with the previous windows and doors.

Replacing the old timber front door with a composite door also removes the maintenance requirements associated with the timber door, including the problems caused by the previous door beginning to rot.

Overcoming the Challenge

The existing timber front door had begun to rot in places, while the older PVCu windows were also beginning to fail. The front door was replaced with a composite door and arched PVCu frame, while the existing windows and doors were replaced with new products.

The customer was delighted with the finished products, particularly the improved thermal efficiency and security, as well as having a composite front door that no longer requires the maintenance associated with the previous timber door.

The Result

The completed project included new Classic PVCu windows, two bay windows, French doors and a composite front door with an arched PVCu frame.

The customer was delighted with the new products, particularly the improved thermal efficiency and security. The new composite front door also means they no longer have the maintenance requirements associated with their previous timber door
